The main aim of the project is to enhance the exchange of information between people looking forr an internship and the protected areas offering them. This provides valuable support for young people with an interest in nature conservation and protected area management. The project seeks to contribute in the long run to an enhancement of the quality and quantity of internships being offered in European protected areas.

In Working for Nature, Nature for Working program protected areas provide often accommodation, grants and other neccessary stuffs to the young professional. They ask for young skilled motivated people to help them with specific management tasks.

Gauja National Park Administration
in 2008 has started to participate in EUROPARC Federation’s Working for Nature, Nature for Working program. It has hosted a young Spanish professional David Rodriguez during 3 months (July-September) who has made a research about public use and visitor’s satisfaction within the Gauja National Park.
